There is a vast variety of products that could be installed in slopes and cathedral ceilings; for the most part, the attic space or the ceiling void space, & factors such as the height, width & depth, etc. will determine which product best suites the construction of these areas.

Before and After Images of Insulation Applied to a Ceiling

Typically, we install R38 to all ceiling areas, if the cavity allows, we will install lose fill blow, “Blow in” insulation, where possible. The second option is fiberglass batts: R38 comes in two forms when dealing with fiberglass, high density and regular. High density is not as thick, allowing you to install it in tighter areas. If the cavity is really tight, we will install rigid foam as needed.

We baffle the eve tips assuring proper ventilation. There needs to be at least a one inch space between the batt and the sheeting of the lid at all times. When dealing with loose fill blow, you need to have at least 36 or more inches.
